| Match Report | Tamworth started their campaign with a superb defensive effort and clean sheet to keep the relegated side at bay and earn a 0-0 draw.
A game filled with drama and missed chances, mainly for the home side who had multiple opportunities to take home the points but for superstar Goalkeeper and Man of the Match Jack Corden. Corden made numerous saves, all at the highest level to keep the home side at bay and bring that point home.
With several juniors at the heart of the Tamworth side, this was truly a remarkable result. Special shout out to Thomas Jephcott, Isaac Hilton and Elliott Nutter for their contribution to the game. |
