Tamworth Men's Seconds Vs Finchfield 4

Tamworth 2nds had a double match weekend after the postponed fixture.

They got off to a great start away Vs Finchfield.

Fielding numerous youth players to help with the double game week Tamworth started strongly and took the lead through a venomous strike from James Goode.  Finchfield manged to bounce back mid way through the half through a neat short corner routine making it 1-1.

Almost instantly, Goode, played a through ball into Elliot Nutter, who struck 1st time to score his first ever Men’s 2nd team goal!

In the second half Tamworth were comfortable and added 2 more goals to seal the victory.  Dave Belson playing in Goode who managed to take it past 2 defenders and snook it in the net.  Then debutant Jacob Jephcote drew out the defender on the right wing and played in Belson to sweep in to the roof of the net and take home the 3 points winning 4-1.
