Telford

Tamworth produced a determined defensive display but were ultimately beaten 3–0 by Telford, with all three goals coming in the second half.

The first half was a tight and competitive affair, with Tamworth working hard to keep Telford at bay. Goalkeeper James Miles was in excellent form throughout the game, making a number of important saves to keep the scores level early on. In front of him, Carter Bradshaw, Joe Wood ,Dylan Waldron and James Griffin were resolute in defence, repeatedly breaking up Telford attacks and holding the visitors at bay.

Half time 0-0

Tamworth also created opportunities of their own during the match. Dom Parry came close but saw his effort drift wide, while Terry Sperrink also had a chance that narrowly missed the target.

However, Telford’s pressure eventually told after the break. The visitors broke the deadlock early in the second half before adding two further goals as the game progressed, capitalising on their attacking momentum despite Tamworth’s continued defensive efforts.

Despite the scoreline, Tamworth continued to battle until the final whistle, with James Miles producing an outstanding performance in goal and earning Man of the Match for his efforts.
