| Match Report | The ladies 2s continued their impressive start to the season with another confident performance winning 4-0 on Saturday. Tamworth started on the front foot showcasing attacking flare and solid teamwork, Anne Marshall was particularly dangerous down the right flank using her pace to great effect, and after 9 minutes her cross found Jess Rayson who slipped the ball to mom Gemma to slot home, two minutes later Gemma Rayson scored her second Claire Miles, Anne Marshall and Clare Phillips combining down the right flank before finding Rayson in the 'D' who calmly passed the ball into the corner of the goal. The town side continued to look comfortable in possession and were solid at the back with Jess Crosby growing in confidence with each game putting in some super tackles alongside Audrey Warburton who also had a good game, but were unable to add to their score and went into the break 2-0 to the good. Tamworth made another quick start to the second session this time Anne Marshall firing home to give the home side a 3 goal lead. Courtney Bravington-Moore stepped up into midfield and produced a confident performance finding some excellent positions, with Clare Phillips and Gemma Bradshaw combining well in midfield setting up a number of good attacks for the home side.
