| Match Report | The ladies 2s recorded their biggest win of the season with a dominant performance against Nuneaton winning 9-0 on Saturday. Tamworth started on the front foot scoring three times in the first twelve minutes. Claire Miles scored twice in the fifth and eighth minute after being set by Hannah Channing and Resh Kaur. Kaur was enjoying plenty of possession down the right flank combining well with Zoe Aldridge as they both put in a number of super crosses. Fiona Wylie added a third before Miles completed her hat trick from a short corner strike. Hannah Channing made it 5-0 with Miles netting her fourth of the game to send the town side into the break with a commanding 6-0 half time lead. Tamworth continued to play some scintillating hockey in the second session as they moved the ball around at pace their play deserved more goals but Nuneaton defended valiantly alongside their GK who made some good saves before Miles got her fifth goal. Channing capped a fine performance striking home from the top of the 'D' with Aimee Haddon completing the rout with a tap in at the far post. Such was the town's dominance GK Margaret Worsley wasn't called into action until the final minute as Nuneaton won a short corner, but to her credit she stayed focused and cleared the ball well to preserve her clean sheet. Another super performance from everyone.
