Tamworth Ladies Firsts Vs North Stafford 1

In a game of 2 very different halves Tamworth held their own in the first half despite north staffs constant pressure. The defence behind excellent Keeper Nicky Youngman were kept busy but worked together to go into the break without conceding.  Unfortunately the second half was a different story. A superbly taken individual goal by north staffs at the start of the second half rocked the team and they just couldn’t find the rhythm of the first half.  Youngsters Phoebe Phillips, Gracie May Prue and Zoe Aldridge all showed strength and skill throughout the game and stayed positive to the end showing maturity beyond their years despite Tamworth conceding 6 further goals.
