Tamworth produced a dominant display on home turf as they swept aside Coventry and North Warwick with an emphatic 8-0 victory to secure them the league title. 

From the opening whistle, Tamworth asserted their authority, controlling possession and creating chances at will. The deadlock was broken early by Elliott Birchall, who tucked home Ian Wagstaffs short corner attempt. The lead was doubled not long after through Ian Wagstaff, whose sharp finish left the keeper no chance. Graeme Cooke added a third before the break with a precise strike, giving Tamworth a comfortable 3-0 lead at half time.

The second half saw no let-up from the home side as they continued to press forward. Dominic Parry made it four with a well-taken goal, before Ben Popple and Ben Bowyer added their names to the scoresheet with quick-fire strikes. James Whittaker added the seventh, finishing off a flowing team move, before Graeme Cooke rounded off the scoring with his second of the match.

It was a complete performance from Tamworth—solid at the back, creative in midfield, and clinical up front—leaving Coventry and North Warwick with no answers. 

The clean sheet caps off a strong defensive showing, while the spread of goal scorers highlights the depth of attacking threat in this Tamworth side.

The final game of the season was the best place to do it as Tamworth 1s became league champions with this Victory, seeing out the season in style.
