Tamworth started well and had the majority of possession but couldnt quite find the back of the Stone net due to some excellent saves by their young keeper. Meanwhile a solid Tamworth defence together with two great saves by the town keeper Lisa Moore kept the score 0-0 at half time. In the second half Tamworth finally broke through with a Jo Bryan short corner strike, the town side then doubled their lead with a quick break from defence, some fine passing from Elaine Foxley and Jess Bryant saw the latter slotting home. Stone then fought back with a well worked goal and then equalised with only five minutes to go. Tamworth rallied again and attacked to try and find the winner but unfortunately ran out of time and had to settle for the draw.
