An encouraging start to the season by Tamworth ladies 4th team. The first half saw Tamworth dominate the wolves 'D' with numerous shots by Rebecca Warburton and Charlotte Raymond unable to find the net. The second half once again saw Tamworth being the stronger of the 2 teams, wolves gained a lucky short corner which they converted. Tamworth fought back strongly with some great work from the midfield to create a short corner which Audrey Warburton struck with force to put it passed the goalkeeper. Tamworth continued to push forward to the final whistle. Final score 1-1. Player of the match Rebecca Warburton.
