The ladies second xi tournament was a family affair with 3 sets of mums and daughters playing on the pitch at one point. With a number of youngsters making their senior debuts the more experienced players sarah Hutchins, Paula cooper and Jackie Casey were coaching on the pitch as the side played together as a team for the first time. Eden collier and Sophie Marshall stood up well to the much more experience opposition and hannah Jarvis worked hard in midfield. Gemma wheelhouse made some excellent runs down the pitch and keeper Vikki Buttler made a number of excellent saves. With 2 losses and 2 draws the team made progress and with one more friendly before the league matches start they are hoping for a positive season.
