Tamworth struggled to find their rhythm playing unbeaten and top of the league West Brom. 3 nil down at half time Tamworth did have some chances to score but were kept out by an outstanding keeper. Lisa Moore had a excellent game in goal for Tamworth and Fiona Wylie and Harriet Gilman worked hard in midfield. Anne Marshall voted league player of the match made some good runs down the wing but the Tamworth forwards were denied by the West Brom keeper. Tamworth kept West Brom out in the second half until the last 5 mins when they finally converted a short corner to make the final score 4 nil. Wylie and Moore were voted Tamworth player of the match.
