Tamworth started strongly against an experienced Wolverhampton side. Ellissa Morris and Hannah Jarvis ran the defences ragged putting them under pressure for the whole game. The pressure paid off as Anne Marshall passed the ball to Morris who crossed the ball into the d and the ball was put past the keeper by a watts defender.
After the break watts equalised despite league player of the match Sarah Hutchins and the other defenders working hard. Ten minutes from the end Tamworth were awarded a short corner. The ball came out to Paula cooper who slipped the ball to player of the match Morris who's first time shot flew into the goal making the final score 2 1 to Tamworth.
